Collectors, artists, museums, curators and public authorities will be meeting during a serious of encounters to discuss art and its market.
A recent study commissioned by the Terna Prize to S3.Studium, focusing on the future of visual arts in Italy, revealed that Italy is artistically alive, but holding a marginal role within the international art scenario, particularly from the structural and organizational points of view. The series of meetings will focus on the career of artists, the synergy between public and private sectors and contemporary art as having adding value and enhancing the community and the territory.
The first meeting was held in Rome at the Oredaria Gallery on Thursday, September 17th at 6:30 pm and was attended by: Pio Baldi, Luca Massimo Barbero, Francesco Cascino, Marina Covi Celli, Luca Josi and Luigi Ontani. The topic of the debate was the "Artist’s Career. The state of the art between the public and private sectors". How talent is built, recognized and developed, which are the fundamental steps for enhancing artists and their career. Which role can the private sector play along with the public in the contemporary art world, possible synergy.
