A total of 3515 artworks registered, 2016 artists over 35 years of age and 1359 under 35; 100 artists registered in the category that represents the first experience for connecting with New York, world capital of contemporary art. Over 40 masters of art are participating in the project. These are the first figures at the closing of the second edition of the Terna Prize on the theme Energy : Mankind = Future : Environment. Three salient facts for this edition.

An increasing will to participate on current cultural, social and aesthetic aspects such as mankind’s future, the environment and energy that became elements for elaboration and creativity for the 3,500 artists of all ages and from all regions of Italy.
During this second edition, the leading masters of Italian contemporary art have overcome their shyness as a guiding light for all others: their high participation confirms this.

Third and last element of the triple circuit of salient facts is represented by the quality of the participating artworks, the important presence of large formats, of innovative and technological techniques, a greater relevance to a complex subject and many videos (visible in the multi-media page of the website).

Upcoming important dates:


Between October 18th and 20th the finalist artworks will be selected.

October 20th closing of the online voting.

October 22nd meeting between the Jury and the Gallery Committee that will announce the winner of the Prize categories.
