

The number of artists registered in the Terna Prize 02 for contemporary art has now exceeded 380, with art works coming from all the Italian regions. According to the latest data, the highest number of artists is from the Lazio region with 51 registered, followed by the Campania region with 41. With light boxes, canvasses, photographs and installation artworks, the Terna Prize is richly colored in creativity registering a marked awareness of artists towards eco-sustainable development issues. The hit-list of participants includes Lombardy with 33 artists, Sicily with 17 artists and Puglia with 22. Veneto and Tuscany each have 17 participating artists. Foreign artists also continue to register in the Terna Prize 02 representing until now approximately 10%. This number is expected to increase since registration will officially close on October 10th.
