Two "Terawatt artists" from the Terna Prize 01 at the Biennale in Venice

Sissi and Masbedo among the protagonists of the  53rd  edition of the  Biennale in Venice, at the Italian Pavilion:  the two  "Terawatt" artists were invited to participate in the first edition of the Terna Prize. The two artists from La Spezia, Nicolò Massazza and Jacopo Bedogni, Masbedo is their pseudonym, last year stood out at the Terna Prize 01 with the artwork  entitled "Glima", a single channel video entirely filmed in Iceland; at the Biennale, the two artists will  present  "complex scenarios dense in symbolic ramifications without ignoring the extreme formal, stylistic and intellectual elements present in all their works".  The twenty artists that were selected to represent Italy in this prestigious event in Venice also include Daniela Olivieri, pseudonym Sissi,  who participated in the Terna Prize 01 with the artwork  "VolerVolare", and known to the public for her works made with knitted yarn, extensions of the body, projected emotions, materials for building protective shells, female symbols.   In Venice she is presenting bird cages she builds with carpentry rounds that invade the surrounding space filling it, “like liquorice that unravels and ravels”.   Before leaving for Venice, the Masbedo were also the protagonists and co-authors of the performing arts evening "INDEEPANDANCE", organized by  Terna to raise funs in support of the MUSPAC (Experimental Museum for Contemporary Art in L’Aquila).
